Estimator

Taylor Leigh Construction's Estimator supports the bidding effort by performing quantity take-offs and assist with subcontract tabulations, value engineering, project procurement, and bid analysis. The Estimator performs complete preconstruction activities, value engineering, and procurement services. The Estimator works with project management team to develop buyout strategies to ensure no gaps or overlap in project scope occur.

• Four year building construction or engineering degree in or equivalent combinations
• Knowledge of construction standards, estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, and cost control systems
• Hard dollar and conceptual estimating
• Ability to estimate Schematic and Design development document phases
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems related to mission critical applications
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
