Project Engineer
Taylor Leigh Construction's Project Engineer provides technical engineering information to the project management team and superintendent to ensure construction complies with all engineering standards, codes, and specifications. The Project Engineer will research and resolve any drawing interpretation issues, interpret construction drawings, prepare and distribute all required documentation accordingly. It is the Project Engineer’s responsibility to insure that all critical information is produced in an efficient manner and the desired construction quality is clearly communicated to all parties concerned while meeting the standards outlined in the Quality Control Plan.
Qualifications
- Four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
- Minimum of three years field supervision experience
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems related to mission critical applications
- Knowledge of construction standards, equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, and building materials
- Excellent communications skills and ability to assume responsibility
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, self-starter and highly-motivated
