Seattle - UPS Installation & HVAC Upgrades

Taylor Leigh Construction installed and commissioned one (1) new Powerware 9395-550/275 Reverse Transfer UPS System with two (2) battery cabinets and one (1) maintenance bypass panel. Eighty (80) l.f. of Starline Bus Way System was installed to provide power to twenty five (25) new Chatsworth 19” relay racks with vertical cable managers and seismic bracing.

Taylor Leigh Construction performed a detailed constructability review of the completed plans prior to issuing the plans for bid. Extensive value engineering and cost reduction reviews were performed to bring the project within budget.

To meet the cooling demands of a high density server application, Taylor Leigh Constriction modified the existing ductwork system to create hot and cold isles. Forty-six (46) drop cans and ten (10) side cans were installed with MD35 dampers and Titus drum louvers.
