St. Croix - DC Power Upgrades

Taylor Leigh Construction installed a new 8 foot high woven wire partition with a 48 inch wide swing gate to create a new customer collocation cage in the SAC Building located in Frederiksted, USVI. To meet the power requirements, Taylor Leigh Construction installed 65 linier feet of single tier 18 inch wide cable tray supported by a single stanchion pole and two (2) 24 inch wide aux bars at 8 foot on center. Twelve (12) 50A fuses and eight (8) 40A fuses were installed into an existing Lucent H569-45 BDFB. Eight (8) 40A (2A & 2B) and twelve (12) 50A (2A & 2B) 2 AWG feeders were installed from and existing BDFB and H-tap down to a 4 AWG cable to four (4) new equipment cabinets. A new 2/0 green isle ground cable laced to shallow “J” hooks was attached to the new cable tray to ground each cabinet.
